The spectacular “Hurricane” study based on the current VW Golf R was launched by Volkswagen as an apprentice project to explore what is technically feasible in terms of performance (and will unfortunately never go into series production).
The poison green one-off from Wolfsburg produces an official 526 hp from just four cylinders and has also been optimized by 200 kg in weight.
