Quality instead of quantity
Our LITE↯BLOX batteries are well thought out down to the last detail and set new standards in terms of weight optimization – Made in Germany. We use the latest LiFePO4 storage technology in an innovative accumulator that replaces the heavy vehicle battery and thus saves space and weight.
Specially developed for tough use in motorsport & performance vehicles according to the motto “quality before quantity” – assembled by hand – each of our products stands for the highest manufacturing standards & offers significant technical advantages over the outdated, heavy lead-acid starter battery:
Development As a holistic development company with a focus on lightweight construction, we at LITEWERKS engineering focused on high-quality, intelligent LiFePO4 high-current lithium-based batteries back in 2014 and, in addition to our own brand LITE↯BLOX, we serve numerous renowned customers in OEM automotive, industry and professional motorsport (Formula 3, Formula E, IMSA, GT series, LMP, etc.) with special solutions and small series applications.
Developed according to the maxim “form follows function”, our LITE↯BLOX batteries are consistently designed for extreme lightweight construction using the highest quality materials.
The patent-pending innovative housing concept made of a special CFRP foam sandwich thermally and mechanically decouples the storage cells for minimum wear and maximum safety under extreme conditions.
In-house developed, intelligent power electronics form the interface to the vehicle alternator, constantly monitor the cells and automatically protect them against misuse and overload (over/under voltage, over/under current, over/under temperature & short circuit).
In addition, the LITE↯BLOX can be read out and actively controlled via a wireless interface using a smartphone app.
The premium LFP storage cells of the latest generation from LithiumWerks used in our LITE↯BLOX are specially assembled according to our specifications by our German supplier (certified to ISO 9001) and therefore meet the stringent requirements for use in the automotive performance sector in terms of starting power, service life and operating environment.
Simulations and load tests
The innovative housing concept can even withstand loads far in excess of current motorsport standards without suffering any damage.
In the course of the development process, loads were simulated approximately for this purpose and then tested on both model variants of the first generation in endurance tests and have been continuously further developed since then:
