Saving weight in the new 992 GT3

Our long-standing partner SEEBACH Fahrzeugtechnik has always been committed to optimizing the performance of sports cars from Zuffenhausen and uses various vehicles as part of the PORSCHE SPORTS CUP.
In the latest project vehicle, a comparatively light Porsche 992 GT3 from WALZWERK-Motorcycles, the series weight has been further reduced through the use of various performance components.
For the current GT3, our LITE BLOX Premium series replaces the PR60XX (track tool) and PR80XX (road use) replaces the standard Li-ion starter battery, thus saving almost 7kg and offering additional protection against theft thanks to the innovative app control:

As the heavy car battery is installed just below the windshield on all water-cooled Porsche models and therefore has a comparatively high center of gravity, the potential for weight savings is particularly high here by using a lightweight lithium-based battery (approx. 7-20kg depending on the equipment and model variant of the current 992).
