The hillclimb racing car of our long-standing customer Holger Hovemann has been in operation for almost a decade as part of the KW Mountain Cup and optimized over the years.
Based on a Corvette C4 ZR1, the V8 power unit now delivers an insane 750 hp on just 1180 kg, tuned via a sequential 6-speed gearbox
Holger first contacted us almost 6 years ago, as conventional racing car batteries failed due to the required starting power of the 14:1 compressed LT5 5.7 liter unit and is now already driving a LITE BLOX LiFePO4 high performance battery for the 5th season Model LB28XX (3kg).
The monster is unfortunately recently at the run in St. Agatha was involved in a serious accident & will therefore probably never be seen again - so here are a few impressions from glorious days:
