  1. Return obligation and legal basis

(1) The seller is obligated to take back used batteries free of charge in accordance with the Battery Act (BattG). The buyer is legally obligated to dispose of used batteries properly and not to dispose of them with household waste.

(2) Regardless of the statutory take-back obligation, the following provisions apply to returns within the scope of warranty, revocation, or goodwill:

 

  1. Returning batteries in case of cancellation:

  • The return shipment is at the expense and risk of the buyer.
  • Batteries must be returned in their original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.
  • Damaged batteries will not be accepted for return.

  1. Warranty and complaints

(1) Reporting defects:

  • Defects must be reported immediately, at the latest within 7 days of discovery, using the above form.

(2) Authorized returns:

  • Returns without the above ticket number will not be accepted.
  • The seller will provide the return address BEFORE SHIPPING.

(3) Packaging and shipping under warranty:

  • Batteries must be packaged in accordance with hazardous goods regulations [4G cardboard box].
  • Batteries must be labeled in accordance with dangerous goods regulations [UN3480].
  • Damaged or defective batteries must be labeled as „damaged/defective.“
  • The seller shall bear the costs of return shipping in the event of justified complaints.

 

  1. Safety requirements for battery returns

(1) Packaging regulations:

  • Poles/contacts must be protected against short circuits (cover with insulating tape).
  • Individual packaging in original packaging (alternatively: plastic bag)
  • Padding against mechanical damage (non-flammable / non-conductive)
  • Sturdy outer packaging in accordance with UN3480 in a 4G hazardous goods carton (if this is no longer available, we will send it in advance upon request)

(2) Prohibited returns:

  • Leaked batteries
  • Severely deformed or swollen batteries
  • Batteries with visible burn marks
  • Lithium batteries with more than 99Wh without special permission

(3) In the event of prohibited batteries being returned, the seller reserves the right to dispose of them properly at the buyer's expense.

 

  1. rescission

(1) Examination:

  • The seller will check returned batteries within 14 business days.
  • The buyer will be informed of the inspection result via email using the ticket that has been created.

(2) Refund for justified complaints:

  • Refund of purchase price or replacement delivery at the buyer's discretion
  • Refunds will be made within 14 days after review.
  • Refund to the original payment method

(3) Unjustified complaint:

  • In the event of unjustified complaints, the buyer shall bear the costs of the inspection.
