First of all: as a sustainably positioned German company, we generally do not want to support "advertising videos" in the relevant channels, as the distinction between objective reporting and paid sponsorship is generally blurred here...
However, since our comment under the current video by JP was apparently deleted immediately, here is a corresponding classification of the subtle insinuations from 29:38min:
After the JP-Performance team had unsuccessfully tried to put a unit into operation that had been worn out due to years of proven bearing damage, we had a suitable battery for the current Golf 7 project in response to the initial request for a "battery with the smallest possible design". LITE↯BLOX PERFORMANCE from our range as a replacement (without holding out a hand in any way).
In response to the spirited support from our team in the now page-long ticket, it is now publicly "clarified" that, contrary to expectations, a standard solution in a DIN housing was preferred - which we of course agreed with our LITE↯BLOX SMART have comparable conditions in their program.
Instead of coordinating this again in any way or picking up the phone to answer queries, they are now advertising a relevant market competitor from China and suggesting in this context that LITE↯BLOX products are largely unsuitable in direct comparison.
The fact that "a new friend" [29:40min] has now been chosen to the great surprise of the management,
once again gives the impression of a curated campaign, without any objectivity or traceability.
It is less about what is actually said than what is suggested between the lines:
1) Reliability [29:44min]
what "always works" and how was this checked in the short time available?
(has the tinkering booth even been started up to now if the open-circuit voltage here shows 13.6V?)
2) Weight [30:06min]
the weight is "almost the same"
(our LITE↯BLOX LB28XX weighs 3.3kg in the version "tested" here, i.e. just under 20% less than the new friend)
3) Construction form [30:20min]
What doesn't "fit" here and why was this neither communicated nor agreed in advance?
(LITE↯BLOX PERFORMANCE & LITE↯BLOX SMART can be exchanged for the standard battery in VAG vehicles plugNplay and we have >100 customers with comparable vehicles in the field)
4.) Conditions [30:30min]
"costs much less" compared to what?
(our LITE↯BLOX SMART starts at 1195Eur incl. VAT)
Our technology-leading products have been proving themselves for years in the Professional motorsport and against this background we expect a prompt correction to the above allegations.
The whole thing is really disappointing and incomprehensible for us as a sustainable company with its own development, production and dedicated customer support in Germany.
...or is that the standard when there is no money flowing?
