Product guarantee

LITEWERKS GmbH, Robert-Bosch-Str.18, D-78467 Konstanz (hereinafter "LITEWERKS") guarantees the end customer (hereinafter "Customer") in accordance with the following provisions that the LITE↯BLOX battery (hereinafter "Products") delivered to the Customer in the EU incl. Switzerland & Norway will be delivered within a period of 5 (in words: "five") years from delivery (warranty period) free from defects in material or workmanship.

LITEWERKS shall, at its own discretion and at its own expense, rectify the defects claimed in this way by repair or delivery of new or refurbished parts.

The warranty covers exclusively on products of the PERFORMANCE / PREMIUM / SMART series. Other claims of the customer against the manufacturer, in particular for damages, are excluded. The contractual or statutory rights of the customer against the respective seller are not affected by this guarantee.

Claims under this guarantee only exist if
- the product, within two months after the date of purchase, via the LITE↯BLOX smartphone app or alternatively via our Form (see below) has been registered by the customer,
- the product shows no damage or signs of wear caused by a use other than that for which it is intended and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications (in accordance with User manual) are caused by deviating use,
- the product does not exhibit any characteristics that indicate repairs or other interventions by workshops not authorized by the manufacturer,
- only accessories authorized by the manufacturer have been installed in the product,
- the serial number has not been removed or made unrecognizable.

Claims under the warranty can only be asserted against the manufacturer upon presentation of the original invoice with the date of purchase within a preclusive period of two months after the occurrence of the warranty claim or in the case of defects that are not immediately recognizable within two months after their discovery. LITEWERKS shall bear the costs of sending and returning the product. However, if LITEWERKS or the responsible customer service has named a specific freight company to the customer for the shipment and the customer uses a different freight company, LITEWERKS shall not be liable for the costs of the shipment.

If warranty claims are asserted and it turns out during the inspection of the product by LITEWERKS or the responsible customer service that there was no defect or that the warranty claim does not exist for one of the above-mentioned reasons, LITEWERKS shall be entitled to charge a service fee in the amount of 85EUR to raise a claim. This does not apply if the customer proves that he could not recognize under the circumstances that the warranty claim did not exist.
This guarantee applies to the extent and under the conditions specified above (including the presentation of proof of purchase in the event of resale) exclusively to the original purchaser within the geographical area of validity.

This guarantee is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
